Dave and Tammy’s shared love for animals and the outdoors inspired them to start Dave's Dogs. Their deep affection for their dog, Maddie, fueled their passion to create a service where every dog is treated liked family.

Dave's lifelong love for dogs began with his first dog Ace who sparked a passion that never faded. Born and raised in Montclair, NJ, Dave spent 15 years as a Racquets Professional in Chicago, earning multiple National Championships and a spot in the American Platform Tennis Association's Hall of Fame. He’s also the proud dad of his 21-year-old son, Gunnar.

Beyond sports, Dave is the Executive Producer and main subject of the award-winning documentary A Peloton of One, streaming on multiple platforms. After retiring from Platform Tennis, he found a new calling in dog walking, blending his love for dogs with an active lifestyle.

Tammy, a former Broadway performer and dedicated Drama teacher in Hudson County for over ten years, brings creativity and passion to Dave's Dogs. She’s also a proud mom to her 21-year-old daughter, Maggie.

Together, Dave and Tammy turned their love for dogs and the outdoors into Dave's Dogs—where every dog is family.
